Primary Presenter: Howard Kramer

Track: Presentation/Demonstration

Abstract: Universal Design (also called "Inclusive Design") has become a "hot" topic in design for teaching, for curriculum, architecture and web design. This session will discuss three of these four areas: how Universal Design (UD) applies to web design, to teaching and to curriculum content. This session will also include resources available from a recently awarded NEA grant UCB to promote the integration of Universal Design into University Curriculum (UDUC). Finally, the opportunity to participate in a fall online course on Universal Design for Digital Media will also be discussed.
